Stepping Stones Children's Center has been serving families in the Reno/Sparks area since 1989.  At Stepping Stones, we are dedicated to  providing children a safe, positive, creative and fun learning environment. 

Stepping Stones offers programs for children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten.  Our classes are divided into groups of comparable ages, enabling each child to participate in age-appropriate activities.   We believe in a hands-on curriculum offer many choices for children because they know what they need to do.  Play is a child's work!!

In the infant room, each child has a primary caregiver who is responsible for seeing to that child's every need.  The toddler rooms have small groups of children with 3 dedicated caregivers. 

Our preschool and pre-kindergarten teachers offer a varied, hands-on curriculum which offers learning at a child's own pace, but challenges them to try new things and gain confidence in themselves.  

We believe that we have the finest kindergarten program offered in the Reno/Sparks area.  Miss Dagmar is in her 17th year at Stepping Stones and Miss Brandi is in her 13th year.  They are the most dedicated, creative, fun, and conscientious team you will ever find.  The class is always provided with state-of-the-art materials and all Washoe County School District materials are used and suplemented with our wealth of other resources.
